Kent Sport facilities are open to all members throughout the year during University term and vacation periods.
To access the sport and fitness facilities, please ensure you bring your Kent One Card (students and staff) or Kent Sport membership card (public) to each session. You will need your card to check in at reception and to gain entry through the turnstiles.
2026-27 term time opening hours
- Welcome Week: Saturday 26 September to Sunday 4 October
- Winter term (Term One): Monday 5 October to Friday 11 December
- Spring term (Term Two): Monday 11 January to Friday 19 March
- Summer term (Term Three): Monday 12 April to Friday 18 June
Bank holidays
All Kent Sport facilities will be open on reduced hours on bank holidays which fall within University term dates.
- Early May bank holiday: Monday 3 May
- May bank holiday: Monday 31 May
Sports Centre indoor sports facilities
The Sports Centre indoor facilities include the multi-use sports halls and boxing area above hall two.
