The School will award one sum £3,000 on a competitive basis to a successful applicant commencing Master's level study in September 2019.
To be eligible, candidates must demonstrate financial hardship and be undertaking a Master's at the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research, starting in September 2019.
This award will be in addition to any Kent scholarships and discounts (such as the £1,000 Graduate School Scholarship, 10% Loyalty Discount and the School's £500 discount for high performing students).
• Have applied to study a Masters at the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research at the University of Kent
• Preference will be given to candidates on the MA International Social Policy
• Study to commence in September 2019
• Be able demonstrate financial need
Applicants should provide a supporting statement explaining why they wish to embark upon their chosen Masters and how the Bill Jenkins Award would benefit them. The statement should not exceed 500 words.
