Congratulations to our Graduates 2019!

On Tuesday 16th July, the School of Politics and International Relations celebrated the academic success of its Undergraduate students in their graduation ceremony at the Canterbury Cathedral.

Families, friends and staff took their seats in the Cathedral to watch as Politics and International Relations students were conferred their degrees by the University’s Vice Chancellor.

The School held a graduation drinks reception before the ceremony for students and their families, to celebrate the culmination of many years of hard work. During the drinks reception, the School took the opportunity to award our annual prizes to selected students. The prizewinners were:

Carys Wall, Maurice Vile Prize for the best performance in Stage 3 and the Colin Seymour-Ure prize for the best undergraduate dissertation

Daniela Gods-Romanovska, Colin Seymour-Ure prize for the best undergraduate dissertation

Nadine Easby, Special Achievement Prize

Svenja Bauer, Bryan Keith-Lucas prize for the best stage 2 performance

Yoginni Gopal, David Nunnerley prize for outstanding contribution to school life

Emily Cariou-Reynell,  David Nunnerley prize for outstanding contribution to school life

Jack Smith, Sarah Hyde prize for the best stage 2 performance on BA politics in Asia Pacific

Emma Lagerstedt, School of Politics and International Relations prize for best overall performance on a politics and international relations programme

Anna Sophie Kirchmayr, a prize awarded by the Rutherford College Master to a student from the School of Politics and IR who has best contributed and engaged with other students to enhance the student experience.

 

The School would like to congratulate all its students on their fantastic work during their time here and wish them every success for the future.
