Chemistry Student Receives OUP Achievement Prize

Congratulations to Chemistry stage 2 student Hannah Crawford who received the Oxford University Press (OUP) "Achievement in Chemistry" Prize, for achieving the highest marks in her stage last year!
The OUP “Achievement in Chemistry” Prize has given away over £12,000 worth of books to chemistry students from 68 institutions in the UK and Europe since it was launched in 2006. Winning students are chosen by the chemistry departments from their universities and the prize then arranged with the OUP.
The department's criterion is to award it to the Chemistry student with the highest marks in Stage 1, because the structure of the course means that the greatest need to purchase Chemistry textbooks is at the beginning of Stage 2. The prize Hannah receives is £150 worth of OUP vouchers, to be spent on chemistry textbooks, so this is very handy for her!
You can see more about the Prize on the OUP website here: https://global.oup.com/ukhe/scienceresources/chemistry_prize/
