The May issue of Community, the University's newsletter for the residents and businesses of north Canterbury, is now available to download.

The newsletter will also be delivered to residents and available on campus this week. Highlights of this issue include:

  • News about the successful joint bid by the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University for funding to establish a medical school
  • How we work with transport providers and partner organisations in Canterbury to support the local transport plan and promote sustainable travel
  • The latest public advertising campaign to promote the impact of the research carried out by our academics
  • Award-winning work by entrepreneurs based at the University’s Hub for Innovation and Enterprise and a national award shortlisting for KMTV
  • Moving out advice for students and residents as we approach the end of the academic year
  • Key dates for the diary and useful contacts

Community is designed to keep local residents, businesses and community representatives up-to-date with the latest news and developments from the University of Kent. It is published four times a year – in February, May, August and November – and is delivered to 12,500 properties in Canterbury.

The newsletter can be read online in the community section of the University website and is available at a number of on-campus locations for visitors to pick up.

We welcome feedback on our work and the way that we communicate with our community.
