Olympic gold medallist and Kent alumna, Susannah Townsend, visited the University’s Canterbury campus following her success with the Team GB hockey team in Rio, Brasil.
Townsend, who studied Sport and Exercise Science at Kent, met with the Director of Kent Sport, Graham Holmes and Assistant Director, Mel Clewlow on Friday 26 August.
The Olympian, who plays as attacking mid-fielder, won one of Britain’s total 27 gold medals.
