Becket Chambers is the largest chambers in Kent, covering courts throughout the South East and London.

Becket Chambers is the largest chambers in Kent, with 19 members, one pupil, one door tenant, two clerks, two admin assistants, and chambers across five locations (Canterbury, Dartford, Eastbourne, West Malling, and Tunbridge Wells).

Covering courts throughout the South East and London, as well as further afield by arrangement, Becket chambers has particular specialisms in chancery, commercial, civil, family, employment, forfeiture, and local authority law.

Many members offer services direct to the public via the Direct Access Scheme. Some members are qualified mediators.

At a time when many legal organisations are folding or cutting back, Becket Chambers’ aggressive expansion has put them at the front of the list for barristers in the south East, with the chambers itself and a number of members listed in Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500

Rewards 2017-18

Becket Chambers will be offering students on the EP Scheme one mini pupillages for only 150 points, in addition to skills development sessions on advocacy (75 points) and 1-1 employability sessions, on life as a barrister, CVs and general careers advice (50 points).
