Vacancy for Student Fundraiser

The Development Office are recruiting for students to assist with their fundraising telephone campaigns to raise money for the Kent Opportunity Fund, which helps support students.

The Kent Opportunity Fund (KOF) helps to provide scholarship and support student projects. As a student fundraiser, you will be contacting alumni and helping raise money for these causes.

Job Specification:

This paid role will involve calling the University’s alumni, talking to them about their time at university and fundraising for the KOF.

Person Specification:

They are looking for friendly and reliable students who don’t mind discussing their time at university if asked. Applicants should be comfortable on the phone, confident and willing to speak positively about their experiences at the University of Kent.  

Calling will commence on Saturday 28th October and finish on the Sunday 26th November. Callers will be asked to work two shifts per week (6-9pm) and either a Saturday or a Sunday (12-5pm)   

The application deadline is Friday 29th of September.

Remember, you can earn 30 Employability Points as a student callers and 45 Employability Points as a supervisor.
