Overview

On this practical module students will be introduced to key industry recognised 3D modeling software packages, thus developing techniques, processes, and skills to enable them to quickly and confidently create virtual models of architecture, objects and spaces. Students will use the modelling technology to communicate a range of properties on screen and to compliment visual communication in other media.

3 Composite the model into a design brief.
4 Understand the broader context of their practice within contemporary and commercial digital media platforms.

On successfully completing the module students will be able to:

1 Use Information and Communication Technology.
2 Be self-critical of work in progress, responding to the critical insights of others and investigating and assessing alternative methods and techniques.
3 Prioritise tasks and work efficiently on a project over a period of time.
