What we do

Corporate Communications produce a number of publications on behalf of the University and its departments, including publications for external corporate audiences and internal staff and students.


Regular publications

Annual Review
The Annual Review, published in January each year, covers 12 months of University activity including teaching, research, student support and enterprise. It features our relationships with our region and euroregion, international affairs, arts, leisure and events and capital projects. Also included are lists of honorary graduates, new professors and donors.

Ad-hoc publications

We also publish ad hoc publications, featuring different aspects of the University’s aims, achievements and its impact in the region and beyond. 


Institutional Strategic Plan
A summary of key elements in the University’s strategic plan for 2012-15, starting with our vision and broad strategy, before highlighting what makes us different, providing opportunities for all, working our partners, communication best practice, staff recruitment and effective/efficient operations.
