About

Lawrence Hills studied an undergraduate degree in Animal Conservation at the University of Greenwich and a master’s degree in Conservation Biology at the University of Kent.

Since graduating, Lawrence has worked in the charity sector, first as an intern for a bird of prey charity and then as a field officer for the national charity concerned with conserving reptiles and amphibians in the UK. He has also worked in the private sector as an ecological consultant.

Lawrence is now a PhD student based within the School of Anthropology and Conservation at the University of Kent and his research project looks to assess the ecological impacts of non-native gamebird release on UK reptiles.
