Transforming the Future of Healthcare conference (25 March)

The newly established Healthcare and Life Sciences Alumni (HLSA) Group will host its inaugural event with a guest lecture titled ‘Transforming the Future of Healthcare’ via Zoom on 25 March 2021 at 15:00 (GMT). This event is free and open to all.

The event will begin with an introduction from the University’s Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Karen Cox, who will welcome attendees and guest speaker Karen Taylor, Head of the Centre of Health Solutions at Deloitte UK.

Karen Taylor’s speech will examine how the future of healthcare may look and the roles that university research will play with emerging trends impacting life sciences, disruptive technologies, and future skills over the next five years.

Dr Peter Nicholls, Honorary Senior Lecturer in Molecular and Cellular Biology in Kent’s School of Biosciences, will lead a Q&A for which the virtual attendees are able to submit questions in advance or on the day via: alumni@kent.ac.uk
