Where is my KentOne student ID card?

Before you arrive

As part of the enrolment process, you will need to upload a passport-style photo that must meet these specific requirements. This photo will be on your KentOne student ID card for the whole period of your studies and cannot be changed.

Are you sponsored on a Student visa?

If you require a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) to study in the UK, you will be contacted by the Student Immigration Compliance Team to arrange the collection of your student ID card from the Arrivals Hub (Canterbury) or the Gillingham building reception (Medway).

Post Office Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) collection

If you have collected your BRP from the Post Office, you must bring this in person to the Arrivals Hub (Canterbury) or the Medway building reception (Medway) so that we can take a copy for your student record. This must be done before the registration deadline. You will not be registered until you have presented both your passport and BRP to us.

Your KentOne photo must:

  • show you dressed appropriately

  • be between 1 to 100kb in size, preferably with the dimensions of 286 (horizontal) X 388 (vertical) pixels, and no greater than 500 by 500 pixels. The file name does not matter, as long as it is in .jpg format.
