Where is my KentOne student ID card?

Your ID card

Before you arrive 

As part of the enrolment process, you will need to upload a passport-style photo that must meet these specific requirements. This photo will be on your KentOne student ID card for the whole period of your studies and cannot be changed.

Collecting your KentOne student ID card

Canterbury campus

You can collect your KentOne student ID from Arrivals Weekend (26-27 September 2026) from the Arrivals Hub. Check the Arrivals Hub webpage for opening hours.  

Please allow 48 hours between receiving your registration confirmation email and going to collect your ID card.

Medway campus

If you are a new student starting in September, you can collect your student ID card from the Arrivals Hub in the Oasis Lounge (first floor of the Medway building) which is open week days 9:30-16:30 from Monday 28 September to Friday 2 October 2026.

From Monday 5 October, you can collect your ID card from room M0-10 in the Medway building (weekdays only). Please allow 48 hours between enrolling and collecting your card.  

Kent and Medway Medical School students

We will produce your KMMS student ID card and hand it out to you during Welcome Week.

Please allow 48 hours between receiving your registration confirmation email and going to collect your ID card.   

Your KentOne photo must:

  • be a recent close-up colour photo of your head and shoulders against a white background
  • not be cropped
  • show you dressed appropriately
  • not include any filters
  • be between 1 to 100kb in size, preferably with the dimensions of 286 (horizontal) X 388 (vertical) pixels, and no greater than 500 by 500 pixels. The file name does not matter, as long as it is in .jpg format.
