Within our School, we are proud of our collaborative approach. Our friendly and supportive atmosphere encourages everyone to contribute and reach their full potential.
We teach degree courses in Biology, Biochemistry and Biomedical Science. Each degree can be taken as a three-year programme, or as a four-year programme with a Sandwich Year or a Year Abroad. The year spent away from the University is between the second and final years.
We also offer a degree in Biomedical Engineering: 30% of the teaching takes place within the School of Biosciences; the rest takes place within the School of Engineering.
