University Centre Tonbridge

Engaging courses for part-time study

Welcome to the Tonbridge Centre

The University’s Tonbridge Centre has been established for over 30 years and is situated in the town centre, a few minutes' walk from the High Street and Tonbridge railway station.

We are continuing to offer introduction to postgraduate level study short courses at the Tonbridge Centre. These courses are designed for anyone with the passion and motivation to develop their knowledge at an advanced level. They do not award academic credits but can be used as preparation and an indication of your suitability for applying for a full postgraduate qualification programme.

Our inspiring range of short courses and study days allows you time to explore a subject purely for interest, among like-minded people, without formal assessment.

New for 2017 are lectures and short courses organised by the University of Kent's Tonbridge Centre in association with Medway U3A (to be held at the University of Kent's Medway campus) and New Writing South/West Kent Writers' Hub (to be held at the University of Kent's Tonbridge Centre).

The Centre is also the University's West Kent base for the delivery of professional and executive education in collaboration with the Centre for Child Protection, the Centre for Professional Practice, Kent Business School and Kent Innovation and Enterprise.
