Inter College Football League (ICFL)

Represent your college in our weekly 11-a-side Inter College Football League. All Intercollege teams are student-led, similar to Kent Union societies.

About Inter College Football League (ICFL)

What is ICFL?: The league is your chance to represent your college (first-year accommodation) in competitive matches against other colleges.

Games: Every Wednesday (during term time)

Time: Fixtures KO between 12:30pm and 10pm

Location: Park Wood 3G/3GX pitches 

Entry fee: £370 team entry fee for the 24/25 season (includes league and cup competition). 

ALL players must have a Kent Sport membership to play. This can include a Pay To Play membership, which is free to purchase and activate.

  • With a Pay To Play membership each game will cost £6.50 for students*
  • With a Plus or Premium Plus membership each game will be FREE for students*
    • *Team entry fee is in addition to the above facility entry fees. 

Who can play?

  • The league is open to 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year, and postgraduate students.
  • You do not need to be currently living on campus to play Inter College Football.

The ICFL January transfer window is open, meaning there are opportunities to join a team. If you are interested in representing your college, please review the eligibility criteria and contact the relevant team captain.

College affiliation is based on the accommodation you lived in during your first year of studies. Click the link below for more information.

Eligibility and College Affiliation

  • The league is open to 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year, and postgraduate students. 
  • Players are only eligible to represent the college they were affiliated with in their 1st year accommodation.
  • You do not need to be currently living on campus to play Inter College Football.
  • Becket Court students play for Eliot
  • Giles Court students play for Keynes Athletic
  • Tyler Court students play for Rutherford Raiders.
  • Medway students may play for Woolf, Darwin, or Eliot. 
  • Students who have never lived on campus will most likely play for Eliot College.
  • Kent FC players are not eligible to play in the ICFL.
