Functionality

Notepad++ (made by notepad-plus-plus.org) is a free text and source code editor for use with Microsoft Windows. It supports tabbed editing, which allows working with multiple open files in a single window. Notepad++ can be used for an extensive range of things, most notably it can be used to open code files written for programming languages such as Python. It keeps the layout and structure of the code when you open or edit it, making it easy to save and run. Notepad++ can also be used for general purposes such as taking notes or writing documents.
