DICE alumnus named as "Leader of Tomorrow"

20th September 2012

Former DICE student Sanjay Gubbi joins Bollywood film stars and tennis champions on the list of “25 Leaders of Tomorrow” published by the Times of India to celebrate Independence Day.

The article celebrates 65 years of Indian independence by listing the 25 young people with the potential to emerge as leaders of the future. For Sanjay it says:

“Sanjay Gubbi understands animals and has worked tirelessly to protect them. The Western Ghats and the indigenous wildlife of the mountain range have benefited from his attention over the years. He persuaded the state to close night traffic on highways near the Bandipur and Nagarhole National Parks. Gubbi has also played a prime role in the institution of new social security and welfare measures for forest watchers and guards in Karnataka's protected areas.”
