Kent clinical health practitioners will benefit from a new internship programme at the University aimed at developing their research capability.

Up to eight places are on offer for the internship programme, which is being funded by the Health Education Kent Surrey Sussex (HEKSS)/National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Integrated Clinical Academic Programme 2017-18.

The University’s Centre for Health Services Studies (CHSS) will provide the research training and development opportunities to a range of health practitioners under the programme. This will form part of CHSS’s commitment to support and advise health care staff across the region to develop and undertake research projects.

More broadly, CHSS is a centre of research excellence which undertakes high quality research into a wide range of health systems and health services issues at local, national and international levels.
