Regular users of medicines are being invited to a public meeting to hear about other people’s experiences of using medicines and to learn about the latest research from the Medway School of Pharmacy.

The meeting, Keep taking the tablets?, takes place on Tuesday 6 June from 10.00am-12.00 at the Church Lecture Theatre, Chatham Historic Dockyard. It is free and open to all.

Around half the population takes at least one regular medicine, but many experience some difficulties or have concerns about them. The meeting will provide an opportunity for people taking medicines long term, as well as their carers and health professionals, to discuss issues surrounding regular medicine use.

Researchers from the Medway School of Pharmacy will be on hand to present the results of studies into long-term medicine use and explain what they may mean for people.
