Kent welcomes Kenya's High Commissioner Designate to the UK

On Monday 3 December the University welcomed His Excellency Mr Manoah Esipisu to its Canterbury campus.

High Commissioner Designate Esipisu was welcomed by Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Karen CoxSenior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost David Nightingale and Dr Anthony Manning, Dean for Internationalisation.

He was also greeted by Kenyan students, including committee members of the East African Society and the Commonwealth Scholarship awardee.

During his visit the High Commissioner Designate met with representatives from Kent Law School, where he received a tour of facilities including Kent Law Clinic and the mooting chamber.

He also met with representatives of the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) and the University’s Academic Division, including members of International Recruitment and the Recruitment and Admissions Office.
