A new film showcasing the partnership between artists, architects and historians at the University and Canterbury Cathedral has been captured in an eight-minute film by Stacie Lee Bennett, Research Associate in the School of Arts.

The Questions of Space: A Festival of Ideas exhibition was a two day event organised by the University’s Faculty of Humanities and held at Canterbury Cathedral.

The exhibition invited the public to a series of open interactive talks, walks, sights and sounds created by humanities staff at Kent as shown in the new film which explored previously unknown and secret spaces inside the Cathedral and its precincts.

The video showcases the exhibitions that took place all day and evening and included light projections, hot air experiments and music concerts. The festival engaged new audiences and unveiled new opportunities for learning and discovery as academics shared their knowledge and research with the public.

More information on the University’s engagement with the community can be found on the website.
