Kent transport economics expert Professor Roger Vickerman was one of the speakers at a debate at the European Parliament on 27 September.

Professor Vickerman, Professor of European Economics in the University’s School of Economics, is one of five speakers taking part in the debate, entitled Towards a Single and Innovative Transport System.

The K41 Forum Dinner Debate follows on from the new European transport strategy set out by the European Commission in 2011, aimed at establishing a ‘single and innovative European transport system’.

Professor Vickerman is also the University’s Dean for Europe.
