The next guest in the University’s popular In Conversation series will be the film critic, writer and broadcaster, Mark Kermode (23 January).

Hosted by the University’s Chancellor, In Conversation events are relaxed and informal discussions between the guest and the Chancellor, with audience participation encouraged.  Each event concludes with a Question and Answer session or tweet #GavinAsks in advance.

In Conversation with Mark Kermode will take place at 6.30pm in the Woolf Lecture Theatre at the University of Kent’s Canterbury campus.  It is free and open to all.

After the talk, there will be a ticketed High Table Dinner with Mark Kermode and the Chancellor with tickets priced at £45.00 per person. Money raised from the sale of tickets for this part of the event will go towards the Kent Opportunity Fund. Find out more on the In Conversation webpages.

Mark Kermode is the chief film critic for The Observer newspaper, as well as presenting film reviews for the BBC. He is also a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).
