Fatima joined the International Recruitment team at the University of Kent in 2022. Before joining the team, she worked as a high school guidance counsellor and school’s examination officer for IGCSE and other international exams, for 10 years.
Her specialty is in one-on-one career guidance and placements. She engaged in organising and attending university fairs, working closely with universities and bodies like the British Council to help students prepare and take exams like the IGCSEs and IELTS.
She studied Educational Guidance and Counselling, and Psychology with interest in Special Education.
Her present role includes guiding applicants through their applications, supporting local agents of the University of Kent in Nigeria and involving in recruitment and marketing.
