Postgraduate Talks are delivered by different academics from around the University across all Divisions, postgraduates also have the chance to present should they wish to do so.
Postgraduate Taught
Postgraduate taught students can present about their own culture at our 'Exploring Global Cultures' PG Talks. These talks may focus on a particular area related to their culture or present a general overview. We encourage students to share more about what's shared by people in society as well as where important differences arise as well, for example, students may have noticed differences or similarities in culture since being at Kent.
PhD Researchers
Postgraduate Researchers are invited to give a talk on their research at our 'Research at Kent: Shaping the future' PG Talks. We encourage researchers from all divisions to share their projects with their peers as an opportunity to practice presenting and inspire postgraduate taught students to pursue research in their future.
Current postgraduate taught students and researchers can express their interest in presenting by emailing skills@kent.ac.uk.
