Welcome and registration
Once you arrive on campus, please make your way to the Verena Holmes Building to register. You should arrive no earlier than fifteen minutes before your event start time as you will not be able to enter the building before then.
Covid-19 Health and Safety measures
The health and safety of everyone involved in our MMIs is our priority. Everyone will be expected to wear a mask throughout the interview (unless exempt). We will also be checking NHS Covid Passes at the registration desk. This will confirm that you have either:
- completed a full course of vaccination at least 14 days before the event, or

- have proof of natural immunity by way of a positive PCR test taken within the last 180 days but not within the 10 days prior to the event.
Document check
As part of your registration, you will need to have your identification and qualifications checked. It is important that you bring the original versions of these documents as we will not accept photocopies.
If you do not bring the required documents with you, you will not be able to proceed to interview.
Identification documents
These need to be in date and include one of the following:
- current passport
- British driving licence
If you were born outside the UK you will need to bring a current passport or a European identity card.
Qualifications documents
Once you have booked your interview, you will receive an email from the Admissions Team to let you know which qualifications documents you will need to bring with you.
Briefing
After you have registered and had your documents checked, you will go through to the Briefing. This session will outline the running order and give you the opportunity to ask questions before your MMI circuit begins.
Personal possessions
Personal possessions, coats and bags will be collected and securely stored while you are in your interview. Mobile devices, laptops, smartwatches and any other devices will not be permitted in the interview rooms and will be collected before the interview begins.
Your Multiple Mini Interview
Each MMI circuit will consist of six stations that are seven minutes in length. Each station is designed to test a different skill or attribute.
Each station is in a different room and there will be signs and marshals on hand to guide you from station to station. There will be a three-minute break between stations and one rest station during the circuit.
Once you have completed the six stations you will move on to station seven, which is a group station and takes about 40 minutes to complete. You will have an additional briefing before this activity begins.
