About

PhD project: Is sharing caring? Transformation of shared religious spaces in postwar Bosnia-Herzegovina

Marko’s research aims to follow and understand the processes of transformation of shared religious spaces in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through the investigation of the relationships between religion, economy and social relations in both socialist and postsocialist, as well as postwar, contexts, new ways of reading such spaces will be employed. By so doing, previous theories on the issue are going to be reconsidered and challanged in order to better understand the interreligious limits and possibilities not only in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but in the whole region of the Balkans.
