The expertise of members in the University's Cyber Security Centre has been demonstrated by three recent articles being published on cyber security.

Two articles from Dr Eerke Boiten and another by Professor David Chadwick have appeared in the online news and comment website, The Conversation.

Professor Chadwick’s article questions the issues that surround digitising public services. This article references the large body of research undertaken by the Centre which has an impact on an important area of policy.

Professor Chadwick’s article is available here: Question of trust at the heart of government moves to put public services online.

Dr Boiten’s first article addresses issues of ownership of the internet by countries across the world. A second focuses on whether flawless software can be created.

Dr Boiten’s articles can be read here: It’s possible to write flaw-free software, so why don’t we? and here: Nations want to be the ruler of the internet – at least within their own borders.

The Kent Cyber Security Centre is based in the School of Computing.
