Visit Kent

Visit Kent

Whether you are a potential undergraduate or are looking for a postgraduate taught or research programme we offer a variety of ways for you to visit us.

The University has two main campuses and five specialist centres, all of which you are able to look around at a time to suit you.

University Open Days

We hold full University Open Days at Canterbury and Medway in the summer and autumn.  You can take a tour of our campuses, view accommodation, meet academics and current students, get a feel for life at Kent and discover more about what you can study.  These events are suitable for all potential undergraduate, postgraduate and part-time students and their families. Due to the popularity of our open days, we ask that you book your place online.

Which Open Day?

Kent offers courses at seven different locations so please check which of our locations offer the courses you are interested in, before choosing which event to attend. For information about our centres in Paris, Brussels, Athens and Rome, please attend a Canterbury event or contact the centre to arrange a personal visit.

Next Open Days:

  • Canterbury campus: Wednesday 17 September 2014, 9am - 3pm
  • Canterbury campus: Saturday 4 October 2014, 9am - 3pm
  • Medway campus: Saturday 11 October 2014, 9am - 2pm

Online booking opens approximately four weeks before each event.

Applicant Days

Our Applicant Days for undergraduate applicants are held between late November and early April and, if you are made an offer or invited for interview, you will normally receive an invitation to attend.

Informal visits

If you are unable to attend, you can arrange to visit the University informally.

We offer designated campus tour days at both the Canterbury and Medway campuses for students in the UK and European Union. If you are an overseas student (from outside the EU), we can arrange a personal visit.

Postgraduate Subject Days

Kent’s schools and postgraduate centres offer subject specific postgraduate events throughout the year.  View our current events.

If you can’t see what you are looking for then please contact the school or centre direct to arrange an appointment or see our informal visits page.

Not able to visit?

We would recommend attending an Open Day or an Applicant Day wherever possible. However, if you are not able to visit, you can view our University videos and also take our online accommodation tour which gives 360 views of study bedrooms.
