    EmpFest21 - TMLEP: a case study of qualifying as a solicitor via the SQE route

    Speaker: Alex Acaster, Global Operations and Business Development Manager; Q&A with Rebecca Beaumont and Jenny Hughes, SQE trainees. All three are alumni of KLS.
    TMLEP are a market-leading practice in the sphere of clinical investigations and reporting. Providing around 800-investigations per-month TMLEP work with lawyers, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals to assist in investigating and reporting on clinical care with the overarching aim of improving patient safety and healthcare standards. With many TMLEP staff aspiring to become solicitors the SQE has provided a pathway that allows us to grow our staff in a hyper-specialised field and become qualified in an area most know little about. It has given us the opportunity to realise our staff’s professional potential and continue to upskill our team to ensure we have as strong and qualified a workforce as possible.

    EmpFest21 - UK JET Programme 2022 Presentation and Q&A

    The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme is the official Japanese Government's long-running international exchange and English-teaching programme. Since its founding in 1987, more than 11,000 UK graduates have made their own unique impact within the Japanese community through internationalisation at the grassroots level and foreign language teaching.
    The past few years have been challenging but we are looking forward to sending graduates to Japan as Assistant Language Teachers and Coordinators for International Relations in 2022 as the desire for international exchange is stronger than ever.
