Employability Festival 2019

Graham Bell from MPC will be talking about visual effects in the movies, their evolution, the creative and technical challenges when creating visual effects on a global scale, while highlighting the types of career options available for anyone interested in this exciting industry. Graham will also showcasing some of the techniques involved in visual effects and take you behind the scenes on some of the biggest movies in recent years, including MPC's Oscar winning work for The Jungle Book, replicating Rachael for Blade Runner 2049 and being Dumbo back to the big screen. In addition, Graham will delve into the R&D department of MPC, how they work, the role of a developer and what people do in dealing with the immense artistic and technical challenges of working on a global scale.EP: 10
