School of Anthropology and Conservation Presents: The Climate and Environment Emergency: Looking Ahead

Humanity and the environment that supports it, including countless species of plants and animals, face a historically unparalleled existential threat from human-induced climate change and environmental degradation. The students and staff at the School of Anthropology and Conservation are deeply aware of this crisis and the ability, duty and responsibility of universities to generate the necessary human capacities and knowledge needed to transition to an ecologically, socially and economically regenerative economy at emergency speed. Join us for a lively, provocative and thought-provoking discussion about what we, as individuals, as a multi-disciplinary School and as a University have started doing and still need to do to step up to the enormous challenges and opportunities lying ahead.
