Scholarly Communication Conference

The evolving nature of Scholarly Communication roles means that no two roles are the same. These roles can have many elements including repository management, some open data, some responsible metrics, some REF management, some copyright and licensing, some working with the media… and some all of the above. We are aiming to bring together all the aspects of Scholarly Communication into one event, with an opportunity to hear about the practical approaches being taken, to share ideas and resources, and develop new networks.

This two day conference will take place from Thursday 2nd May, starting at 12 noon for registration and lunch and closing at approximately 17:30, to Friday 3rd May 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m.We are aiming to run this conference as sustainably and accessibly as possible.  When booking please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your visit comfortable.AccommodationWhilst we are not providing accommodation for the conference there are a wide range of hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfasts locally.Visit Canterbury to find and book your accommodation.  Getting hereThe Canterbury Campus has excellent transport links.
