Supporting Students who have Experienced Sexual Abuse: Staff Workshop
Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week

Everyone in the university community can play a key role in supporting students who have experienced sexual abuse. In this workshop you will learn about childhood sexual abuse, common ways in which this affects survivors at university, and most importantly about very easy practical steps you can take in your own role in their day-to-day work to create a supportive environment for survivors at university. This workshop is suitable for any member of staff who works with students, including teaching, assessment, tutoring, administration, or student support.

Part of a week of activity for Sexual Assault and Sexual Violence Awareness Week. See the webpages for more information.  Please note that this event may contain material that is upsetting or potentially triggering. If you are affected by any of the issues raised, please do contact Student Support and Wellbeing for ongoing advice and support
