New Challenges: Early Career Research Positions

In recent years, there have been many substantial and core changes in how researchers are expected to engage with their research, including pre-registration practices, the open science framework, use of social media, methodological innovations, and participatory research.

This workshop will highlight opportunities for early career researchers, focusing on how they can adopt and further develop these changes within the field of psychological science, what to expect when transitioning between career stages, and providing an opportunity for discussing how these cutting-edge approaches to research can be encompassed when developing a career as an independent researcher.

With four excellent confirmed speakers, we look forward to some exciting and interesting discussions and debates throughout the workshop! The workshop is free to attend, but please let us know if you'll be joining us by registering on the workshop website.

The event is focused on ECRs (including PhD students, post-docs, and early career lecturers), although is open to anyone with an interest in the topics being covered.

We hope to see you in June!
