Social Communication Across the Lifespan

This three day conference will bring together researchers from across Psychology, Neuroscience, and Linguistics to examine innovative, state-of-the-art research exploring how social communication changes across the lifespan. We will discuss research with children, adolescents, adults, and into old age, examining this key research area from a variety of different perspectives, using a number of different methods, including behavioural measures, eye-tracking, EEG, and neuroimaging.

The line-up includes keynote speakers Ian Apperly, Iroise Dumontheil, Paula Rubio Fernandez, Elena Cavillini and Heather Ferguson, and we welcome applications for attendees to present their own research, either as a talk (15 minutes) or a poster presentation.

The poster session will be accompanied by a wine reception on Wednesday 27, and a conference dinner will take place on Thursday 28 June (at the Old Brewery Tavern). Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the conference. The conference is free to attend and is generously funded by the European Research Council (ERC).
