Due to COVID-19, these are very uncertain times. There are a lot of changes occurring nationally and locally, and we recognise these may be of concern to our applicants.

The School of Arts offers a range of academically challenging programmes in Drama and Theatre, Film, History of Art and Media Studies. The School has a global reputation for its dynamism and innovation in teaching and research, which is reflected in the distinctiveness of our programmes and the quality and impact of our staff research.

Unfortunately we are not able to welcome you to The School of Arts in person as we would have liked. However, the good news is that this page provides information for applicants who would like to find out more about life at Kent, and what it's like to be part of our creative community.

In the meantime, if you have any queries about the School of Arts, or your application, please feel free to email artshumsadmissions@kent.ac.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you have received an offer to study with us this September, and are unable to attend one of our applicant days, you can find out more about our facilities here, including a virtual Google tour of our building.
