Kent Student Awards 2020
The Kent Student Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding contribution students make to the Kent student experience.
The University of Kent and Kent Union celebrated the winners of the Kent Student Awards 2020 on Monday 20 July with a video presented by Karen Cox (Vice Chancellor and President) and Sasha Langeveldt (Kent Union President 2019/20). All the amazing finalists and winners recieved a certificate and recognition of the achievement on their Higher Education Achievement Report, and the winners will also have an engraved brick laid in the Footsteps Path as a lasting recognition of their work in the very grounds of campus.
The video is available to view on YouTube here.
The main judging panel had the difficult job of selecting 2 winners for each of the 9 awards. Two winners were also awarded the additional honour of Student of the Year and Group of the Year, chosen from among the winners of the other awards. You can read more about all the finalists and winners here.
Congratulations to all the winners and all the students who were nominated, and thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination in the awards!
