Latest School Update

In response to changing student demand, the University is reviewing its course provision in the School of Music and Fine Art. In order to make essential changes to our portfolio and structures, the University has regretfully suspended recruitment to our current degree programmes.

Our staff and students produce work that is of the highest standard and our academic quality is among the best in the sector. We intend to retain our Music Technology programmes and other new programmes are being proposed for 2018 entry. Further information will be available once we have completed this review in April 2017.

The University has guaranteed that all current students on existing programmes will be taught and supervised until the completion of their studies. We will continue to work with our external partners, arts organisations and industry professionals who make a valuable contribution to our current activities and with whom we will liaise to develop our future portfolio.
