A week-long music festival celebrating the end of the extra-curricular musical year at the University of Kent
PLEASE NOTE: Sunday 5 June: Deal Bandstand event has just been cancelled (10.45am) owing to poor weather conditions, the prospect of rain at 1pm and amber weather warnings in place until 6pm; we apologise for the disappointment
The Big Band launches this year's festival at the Memorial Bandstand, Deal, conducted by Ian Swatman. Admission free!
Lunchtime recital by University Music Scholars. 1.10pm. followed by the annual Music Prize ceremony. Admission free
A final roof-raising farewell from the Concert and Big Bands, featuring showtunes and swing. T: £13 (full) / £7 (students)
The String Sinfonia, directed by Floriane Peycelon, in music for string orchestra. Admission free
The chamber choir and consort in Fauré's sublime Requiem and works for upper voices across the centuries, with singer Ridima Sur. T: £13 / £7
A final musical farewell featuring University Chorus, Symphony Orchestra and Minerva Voices, conducted by Dan Harding. T: £8 (full) / £5 (students)

The #EarBox series continues with the upper-voices chamber choir performing a half-hour programme - ranging from medieval plainsong to contemporary British and American works, the event explores the range of colours for upper-voices across the centuries. The concert includes pieces by Hildegard von Bingen, Brahms, Russell Hepplewhite and Sarah Quartel.
Admission free: please note there is a capacity limit of 60 people (performers and audience) at this event (seating for 25).

Where appropriate we welcome children with a valid ticket and accompanied by an adult at all times. If a child’s behaviour starts to disrupt audience enjoyment we do ask that you take the child out of the auditorium until he or she is calmer. Age ranges can be provided as a guide and we ask you to consider whether the concert is suitable for your child.

Local bus services
The UNIBUS runs every 8-15 minutes, Triangle bus 4X runs every 30 minutes from Canterbury Bus Station. Both services stop at the University campus.
Free parking is available to Colyer-Fergusson and Gulbenkian customers after 5pm on weekdays and all day at weekends in any University car park.
Please note when parking in the Giles Lane Car Park after 5pm weekdays and at weekends, the car park barrier will lift automatically when a car approaches to allow access on entry and exit.
For customers attending concerts between Monday and Friday 8am to 5pm please park in the Visitor Pay and Display car parks on Campus. £2 for 3 hours and £6 all day. The nearest Visitor Pay and Display is the Central Car Park (formerly known as Gulbenkian Car Park).
Blue Badge holders must display their badge in the windscreen and free parking is available within marked bays.
