In addition to the University-wide scholarships on offer, Kent Business School is delighted to be able to offer a range of support to our taught and research students.

Kent Business School Loyalty Award

This loyalty award is open to students from the University of Kent who continue their postgraduate studies (taught or research) at Kent Business School. Eligible students would be awarded a 10% discount on their tuition fees.

Scholarships

Kent Business School supports outstanding UK and international postgraduate taught and postgraduate research students who can make an exceptional contribution.

Open Innovation and Collaboration in Healthcare Candidates must have qualifications/experience equal to a minimum of a 2:1 Undergraduate degree, along with a Master's with Merit or Distinction, in a relevant subject. Tuition fees at the home rate and maintenance grant of £15,609 (stipend) in 2022/23 PhD
ESRC SeNSS Studentship Candidates must have qualifications/experience equal to the standard of a good honours degree at a first or upper second class level from a UK academic research organisation. Maintenance grant of £14,777 (2020/21), tuition fees at the home/EU rate and access to further research funding PhD
The Kent-Wates PhD Scholarship in Suicide Prevention Candidates must have excellent research potential and minimum of a 2:1 Undergraduate degree and a Master's with Distinction in public health, social policy or organisation studies. Tuition fees at the home rate and a maintenance grant of £15,609 for 2021/22 PhD
Kent Business School Research Scholarship Candidates must demonstrate excellent research potential and will have a First or 2:1 Undergraduate degree, along with a Master's with Distinction, in a relevant subject. Three-year PhD studentship. One award at International tuition fee rate, two awards at Home tuition fee rate, all with a stipend (2021/22 rate to be confirmed, 2020/21 rate was £15,285). PhD
MBA Leaders in Sustainability Scholarship Self-funded students who hold an offer to study the MBA. 25% of Tuition Fee MBA

Self-funded students with a First Class degree (or equivalent).

Awards up to £2,500 MSc
Lisa Pan Marketing and Technology Scholarship

Self-funded students with a First Class degree who hold an offer to study MSc Marketing at Kent Business School for 2023 entry.

The BAME in Higher Education Ambition Scholarship

Current Kent undergraduates with a 2:1 or first class degree continuing to Master's study at any of Kent's locations.

Award value of £5000 MSc
The “Ambition” Scholarship

Current Kent undergraduates with a 2:1 or first class degree continuing to Master's study at any of Kent's locations.

Award value of £3000 MSc
The Widening Participation Ambition Scholarship

For students progressing directly from undergraduate to postgraduate study at Kent, having completed the undergraduate programme. Students must have received the Kent Financial Support Package (KFSP) during undergraduate study.

Bursaries

Kent Business School offers its own bursary scheme that aims to support our postgraduate students in need of financial support during their studies. Our bursaries are non-repayable and are awarded based on individual financial circumstances.

Kent Business School offers the following Early bird discount to students who confirm their offer early. In addition, for Kent students progressing onto a postgraduate course, the Kent Business School loyalty award is available.
