Europe Day (9 May) is the annual celebration of peace and unity in Europe. To mark Europe Day and to celebrate the University’s role within Europe, various exciting activities have been planned to which everyone is welcome! #WeAreEuropean

Join the celebrations by having fun playing/learning the game of Pétanque, similar to boules, originating in Provence, France.

European Opportunities Fair | 12.00 - 17.00

Come along to the fair and find out about opportunities to study and work in Europe, opportunities for academic and professional staff to train at our European partner institutions through Erasmus+, postgraduate and summer school opportunities at our European Centres, information on getting involved with the Kent Erasmus student society, and opportunities to learn with School of European Culture and Languages.

Photo Exhibition 'We Are European' | All Day

All Day | Keynes College

As part of the celebrations for the EU's official Europe Day in May, the Dean for Internationalisation, Dr Anthony Manning, the Dean for Europe, Professor Roger Vickerman, and the Master of Keynes College, Chloé Gallien, were pleased to launch the 'We are European' photography competition.

‘We Are European’ Exhibition
9 May 2017 | Everyone is invited to view two newly opened exhibitions which will feature a series of paintings from Kent Alumnus Eric Kaiser and two guest fellow-artists, Sophie Guinzbourg and Lysa Bertholom (Keynes Atrium), as well as the all the shortlisted entries of the ‘We are European’ competition (Keynes Teaching Gallery, 1st floor). The exhibitions will be open between 8th May and 16th June.
