Georgina Dean
Georgina is a Graduate Sports Therapist who earned her BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy from the University of Kent in 2018.
Since graduating, Georgina has gained experience working within rugby, football, and ice hockey, alongside running her own Sports Injury Clinic. In addition to her position at the University, she also works as Head of Medical at Ramsgate Football Club and leads a team of student therapists who support the British Army Ice Hockey teams.
In her role as Clinic Supervisor at the University of Kent, Georgina oversees Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation students as they assess and treat patients, helping them apply the full range of skills developed throughout their degree.
Georgina is also the Placement Coordinator for the Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation programme, Georgina supports students across all three stages of study in securing industry placements that enhance both their academic learning and in gaining their BASRaT accreditation.
