Building on the experiences gained during the Clinical Practice and Professional Development module, you will integrate clinical reasoning and critical analysis skills to address more complex spinal and peripheral joint injuries within the in-house student-led injury clinic. You will begin to master your skills in clinical assessment and patient handling whilst using more specialised and advanced rehabilitation equipment and techniques based upon the latest evidence-based research. Throughout the module, emphasis will be placed on critical evaluation and reflection of your skills and your patient's rehabilitation journey, with a view to transforming you into a confident and competent autonomous practitioner ready to succeed in industry upon graduation.

30 min Practical Competency. Assessment Details: Practical Observation worth 20%. This Assessment is Pass Compulsory.
Case Study:1,500 words Portfolio . Assessment Details: Portfolio ( practical observation, clinical competencies document, case study) worth 80%. This Assessment is Pass Compulsory.

On successfully completing the module, students will be able to:
1. Integrate advanced clinical and rehabilitation knowledge and apply the fundamental skills of an autonomous practitioner.
2. Critically evaluate the application of evidence-based assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries.
