Our new two-year MSc with Professional Practice and Placement follows the same structure as the one-year MSc during the first three taught terms.
You then complete either the Placement or Professional Practice option in terms 4–7, before re-joining the one-year MSc cohort to complete your taught modules and final project.

The virtual internships provider and Kent’s Careers and Placement teams will work with students to identify their ideal options to improve their skills development and employability.
Students will select from 19 different careers fields. The internship provider will consider sector, company type, country, skills development needs, dates etc and will match students with an employer based on the data they provided.

Industry Placement option: Students gain in-depth experience in their chosen industry while developing practical skills in a real professional role.
The Professional Practice option: Through professional development activities students will develop transferable workplace skills and apply them in a range of practical role-based experiences; including an 8-week guaranteed virtual internship.
