- Georgina Randsley de Moura
Professor Georgina Randsley de Moura is the Acting Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of Kent. A proud alumna of the university, she completed her studies with a BSc (Hons, 1999) and PhD (2004) both in Social Psychology, and an Executive MBA with distinction (2016).
Georgina is responsible for the strategic leadership of the University, building a community to ensure sustainable and successful outcomes. Georgina is accountable for the academic and financial performance of the University, as well as for compliance with regulatory bodies. Georgina is also the key contact for University stakeholders and supporters, including alumni, donors, industry partners, funders, policy makers, and local, regional and national government. Georgina continues as the executive lead for equality, diversity and inclusion. She is an advocate for social inclusion and widening participation, and she champions the access to life-enhancing education for all.
