Digitial revolution

When Bob Eager arrived at Kent in 1970 as an Electronics undergraduate, the Computing Laboratory was four years old. Over the next three decades he witnessed every major shift in computing.

Summer love

The new Heartstopper film lands summer 2026. Based on Alice Oseman’s award-winning graphic novel about Kent teens, this award winning drama features our campus.  

60 years of sport

Over six decades,from grassroots participation to elite performance, Kent has built a proud sporting legacy that continues to inspire new generations both on and off the field.

This symposium rediscovered the archival recordings of Edward Said's T.S. lectures, delivered at the University of Kent in 1985, which formed the basis of his seminal work 'Culture and Imperialism'.
