Kent alumna Kelly Shungu has been selected as one of the Top 50 Women in Engineering in recognition of her award-winning podcast dedicated to amplifying the voices of women in STEM.
Katrine founded the PGR collaboration and support group INSPIRE in the School of Social Sciences and regularly runs in-person and online events focussed on connection, writing, discussion and mutual support.
Jason Nurse is operational lead in the Institute of Cyber Security for Society (iCSS) and is responsible for educating students, professionals, policymakers and our global community about cyber security.

Lizzie Holland is responsible for co-ordinating the voluntary Patient Engagement programme at Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) and supports a wide range of charities in the local community.
Darren Weir is a Senior Lecturer at Kent Law School and supports a wide range of extra-curricular activities and events for the School. Darren is also responsible for the roll out of a national scheme adopted by other universities.
The First 500 were enrolled at Kent in October 1965 and have paved the way for generations of students since. Their contribution to the University is hugely important to our shared history.
