EARLY BIRD DEADLINE EXTENDED for the 20th International Chromosome Conference until 31 July 2014

It is with great pleasure that we would like to invite you to the beautiful city of Canterbury to join us for the 20th International Chromosome Conference. In 2014 ICC will celebrate its 50th year as its roots lie back in the 1960s with Cyril Darlington organising the first conference back in 1964. Chromosome research has brought life and hope to thousands of families, provided fundamental insight into how we developed as humans, given insight into the fundamental evolution of our genomes and the basic function of our cell nuclei. With this in mind we have;

Scientific committee:

  • Darren Griffin, University of Kent, Canterbury, UK (Congress Chair)
  • Dean Jackson, University of Manchester (vice president)
  • Willem Rens (Treasurer)
  • Helen Tempest (secretary General)
  • Rachel O'Neill
  • Beth Sullivan
  • Terry Robinson

KaryARTyping – The work of Gina Glover –photographer and creator of chromosome imagery - will be on display during the conference and in the promotional material www.artinhospitals.com welcoming you.

This conference is administered and organised by the International Chromosome and Genome Society.
